About The Opportunity

Role & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive gynecological consultations, diagnostics, and treatment plans for women across all age groups—including antenatal, postnatal, reproductive, and menopausal care.
- Perform gynecological surgeries, minor procedures, and emergency obstetric interventions in line with national clinical guidelines and institutional protocols.
- Lead community health outreach initiatives—conducting awareness camps, school programs, and health education sessions to improve maternal and reproductive health literacy.
- Collaborate with midwives, community health workers, and primary care providers to ensure continuity of care and reduce maternal mortality rates in rural catchment areas.
- Document patient records accurately using digital EMR systems, and ensure compliance with hospital policies, legal frameworks, and ethical standards.
- Participate in training and mentoring of junior medical officers and interns to build clinical capacity within the region.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- MBBS with MD/DM/DNB in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Valid NMC registration
- Proficiency in conducting normal and complicated deliveries
- Experience in performing laparoscopic and open gynecological surgeries
- Strong knowledge of RCH, NRHM, and national maternal health protocols
- Ability to use EMR systems and digital patient registration tools
Preferred
- Experience working in rural or semi-urban healthcare settings
- Training in emergency obstetric care (EmOC) or life-saving skills (ALSO/BLS/ACLS)
- Fluency in Hindi for effective patient communication
