Role Description
The Consultant Ayurveda Doctor (Cosmetology & Trichology) will lead patient consultations and treatment planning for skin and hair care at YadaSutra's Kakkanad branch, in line with authentic Ayurvedic principles. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting patient consultations, diagnosis, and case-history documentation; designing and prescribing personalised Ayurvedic treatment plans for cosmetology (skin) and trichology (hair) concerns; and overseeing therapists on treatment protocols and execution. The Consultant will maintain accurate patient records, educate patients on Ayurvedic lifestyle, diet, and preventive care, and coordinate with therapy teams to ensure treatment continuity, upholding clinical quality and patient satisfaction standards throughout.
The role carries individual monthly sales targets for consultations, treatment packages, and Ayurvedic products, and involves converting patient consultations into treatment plan sign-ups through effective counselling and follow-up, in support of the branch's overall revenue goals. Beyond clinical and sales duties, the Consultant will contribute to educational and promotional content as per the content calendar, support engagement on community platforms such as TagMango, prepare and deliver monthly training modules for internal knowledge-sharing, and coordinate with branch doctors to ensure consistent branch-level content productivity.
This is a full-time, on-site role based at the Kakkanad branch.
Qualifications
- BAMS degree with valid state (Kerala) medical council registration — mandatory
- Additional training/certification in Cosmetology and Trichology strongly preferred
- Prior clinical experience in Ayurvedic skin and hair treatment protocols
- Strong diagnostic and treatment-planning ability
- Excellent patient communication and counselling skills, with a sales-oriented approach to treatment conversion
- Knowledge of classical and contemporary Ayurvedic cosmetology/trichology therapies
- Comfort with content creation and digital/community platforms
- Strong team coordination skills with therapists, branch doctors, and support staff
