Role Description The Construction Manager will oversee end-to-end construction activities for industrial solar projects, ensuring timely, safe, and quality delivery of all site works. This full-time, on-site role, based in Bengaluru, involves coordinating with EPC partners, contractors, and internal teams to plan, monitor, and execute construction schedules, including civil, structural, and electrical installations at solar parks. The role includes managing project budgets, tracking progress against milestones, implementing construction safety standards, and maintaining accurate documentation and reports. The Construction Manager will conduct regular site inspections, resolve technical and operational issues, and ensure compliance with regulatory and company guidelines. Collaboration with engineering, procurement, and asset management teams will be essential to achieve project objectives and support seamless handover to operations.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Construction and Construction Safety skills, with practical experience in industrial or solar infrastructure projects.
- Candidates should possess solid Supervisory Skills to lead site teams, manage contractors, and coordinate multi-disciplinary project stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess Budgeting and Project Control skills to manage costs, monitor timelines, and report on project performance and risks.
- Relevant technical qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (or related field) are preferred.
- Experience with solar EPC projects, familiarity with local regulatory and statutory requirements, and strong problem-solving and communication abilities will be beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in dynamic conditions, maintain high safety and quality standards, and use project management and reporting tools effectively is expected.
