As our specialist summit portfolio continues to grow, we are looking for a Senior/Junior Conference Producer to lead the research, agenda development and speaker acquisition for two of our key event platforms:
HPC Summit - focused on the technologies and infrastructure required to deploy AI and high performance computing at scale.
Data Center Investment Summit (DCI) - focused on the capital, investment, policy and commercial strategies shaping the global data center industry.
This is a content driven role for someone who enjoys understanding fast moving industries, identifying emerging issues and turning complex market developments into compelling conference discussions.
The Role
The Conference Producer will be responsible for developing high quality, commercially relevant conference programmes for HPC Summit and Data Center Investment Summit across Asia Pacific and selected international markets.
You will research the market, identify the issues industry leaders are discussing, develop conference themes and session topics, and recruit senior speakers who can bring those conversations to life. The role sits at the intersection of industry research, editorial thinking, relationship building and commercial events.
You should be comfortable speaking with senior executives, investors, technology leaders, engineers, consultants, operators and government stakeholders, while being curious enough to quickly understand unfamiliar technical and financial subjects.
Key Responsibilities
Conference Research & Content Development
- Conduct continuous research into emerging trends, technologies, investments and challenges affecting AI infrastructure, HPC and data centers.
- Develop event themes, conference agendas, keynote topics, panel discussions, interviews and technical sessions that address real industry problems rather than generic conference themes.
- For HPC Summit, key areas may include AI compute infrastructure, GPU clusters, processors, networking, storage, liquid cooling, power architecture, system integration and infrastructure deployment.
- For Data Center Investment Summit, key areas may include infrastructure investment, project finance, private equity, REITs, debt, valuation, M&A, power availability, land, regulation, risk and data center development.
- Identify emerging issues, industry debates and major market developments that can be translated into timely conference discussions.
Speaker Acquisition
- Research and identify senior speakers from leading organisations.
- Invite and secure speakers
- Build long term relationships with speakers and industry stakeholders across the region.
- Conduct speaker briefings and ensure discussions remain focused, relevant and valuable to the audience.
Event Delivery
- Work closely with marketing, sales and operations teams to ensure conference content supports the overall positioning of each event.
- Provide programme information and speaker updates required for websites, brochures, marketing campaigns and sponsorship materials.
- Brief moderators and speakers ahead of conference sessions.
- Support conference delivery onsite and ensure sessions run according to the agreed programme.
- Work with the wider team to identify opportunities for interviews, editorial coverage and post event content.
Who we are looking for
- 2–5 years of experience in conference production, research, journalism, consulting, technology or a related field
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Confidence engaging senior executives and industry experts
- The ability to understand technical and financial subjects quickly
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- The ability to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously
- A strong interest in AI, technology infrastructure, data centers or infrastructure investment
- An international mindset and interest in developments across Asia Pacific
