Role Purpose
To empower women trainees with essential IT skills by delivering structured training in computer fundamentals, accounting software, digital design tools, advanced data management, and AI applications — thereby enhancing employability, entrepreneurship, and digital literacy. The role also carries a standing responsibility to keep pace with fast-evolving digital and AI tools through structured Continuous Professional Development (CPD), and to share that learning with fellow trainers, in line with SRSDC/SRCoEW's Centre-wide CPD goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Training & Facilitation
- Deliver interactive sessions on CCC (Course on Computer Concepts), Tally ERP, Canva design tools, Advanced Excel, and AI-related applications.
- Design and implement practical exercises, case studies, and project-based learning for hands-on skill development.
- Provide personalized guidance to trainees to build confidence and ensure skill mastery.
- Incorporate innovative teaching methodologies such as simulations, role plays, and collaborative projects.
- Curriculum Development & Enhancement
- Develop structured lesson plans, training materials, and digital resources aligned with NSDC and institutional standards.
- Update course content regularly to reflect the latest industry practices and technological advancements.
- Integrate employability-focused modules such as digital communication, workplace IT etiquette, and productivity tools.
- Continuous Professional Development (CPD)
- Maintain and grow personal proficiency across CCC, Tally, Canva, Advanced Excel and AI tools through structured CPD, tracking hours against SRSDC/SRCoEW's Centre-wide CPD target.
- Attend and, where appropriate, co-facilitate CPD sessions for fellow trainers — particularly on emerging AI applications and digital productivity tools.
- Maintain a personal CPD log of sessions attended, certifications earned, and skills developed, feeding into MIS reporting.
- Proactively identify new tools, certifications or techniques worth introducing into the curriculum, and share findings with the wider training team.
- Assessment & Evaluation
- Conduct periodic assessments to evaluate trainee progress and learning outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records of performance, attendance, and certification processes.
- Provide constructive feedback and remedial support to trainees.
- Collaboration & Support
- Coordinate with placement teams to align IT training with industry requirements.
- Support entrepreneurship development initiatives by training women in digital tools for business promotion.
- Liaise with external experts and certifying bodies for advanced modules and guest sessions.

Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.
- Certification in Tally, Advanced Excel, or AI tools preferred.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in IT training or facilitation.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, Canva, Tally ERP, and AI applications.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
- Proficiency in both English and local language (Gujarati/Hindi) desirable.
