Role Description The Computer Services Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Salem. This role involves diagnosing and repairing hardware and software issues for computers and laptops, performing routine maintenance, and supporting AMC service commitments. The specialist will install and configure operating systems and applications, assist with CCTV setup and basic network connectivity, and support data backup and recovery processes. Daily responsibilities include responding to customer service requests, providing technical support and troubleshooting, documenting work performed, and ensuring timely, clear communication with clients. The role also requires collaborating with team members to improve service processes and maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills for desktops, laptops, and related peripherals.
- Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Operating Systems and general Information Technology concepts.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills, including clear communication and a client-focused approach.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+) or equivalent practical experience are beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Salem, manage multiple tasks, and maintain accurate service records.
- Experience with basic networking, CCTV installation support, and data backup/recovery tools is an advantage.
- Minimum of a high school diploma; a diploma or degree in IT, computer science, or a related field is preferred.
