Role Purpose
This role supports Compliance and Security leadership by helping manage and strengthen compliance processes across the Organisation. It plays a key part in implementing and continuously improving corporate and information security practices, while ensuring alignment with standards related to compliance, ethics, data protection, and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Support regional compliance leadership in operating and strengthening the compliance framework across the organisation.
- Encourage ethical conduct, transparency, and an open reporting environment across the organization
- Partner with data privacy teams to:
- Guide business stakeholders on current and upcoming Indian data protection requirements
- Contribute to employee awareness and learning initiatives
- Liaise with regulatory bodies on privacy-related matters when needed
- Act as a key point of contact for internal teams and external parties on compliance expectations
- Develop regular compliance summaries and management updates.
- Maintain awareness of local operations, regulatory developments, and business practices
- Help define local focus areas and contribute to risk-based compliance planning activities
- Adapt and roll out compliance guidelines, processes, and governance materials for local use
- Contribute to compliance assessments, control evaluations, and review activities
- Organize, deliver, and track compliance training and awareness initiatives, including digital learning programs
- Support the implementation and ongoing operation of third-party integrity review processes
- Serve as the local coordinator for third-party reviews, issue escalation, and stakeholder communication
- Provide guidance through established compliance advisory channels, ensuring appropriate documentation
- Assist with the handling of reported concerns, follow-up actions, and corrective measures
- Contribute to compliance reviews related to mergers, acquisitions, and post-integration activities
- Prepare compliance documentation and reports
Education & Experience
- Bachelors Degree in Law (mandatory)
- 10+ years of experience in Compliance / Legal / Risk / Governance roles
- Exposure to: Antitrust, Anti-corruption & anti-fraud, AML, Data Privacy, Information / Cyber Security
- Experience in multinational or similar sized organizations preferred
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of regulatory, governance, risk & control frameworks
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong analytical ability with high attention to detail
- Proficient in MS Excel & PowerPoint
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Fluent in English (regional language is an advantage)
