Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Commercial Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and support scalable cloud-based data platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Delta Lake, Python, SQL, and PySpark, along with experience in CI/CD, DataOps, governance, and cloud architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop end-to-end data solutions using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Delta Lake, and Snowflake.
- Build scalable, secure, and high-performance data pipelines using Python, SQL, and PySpark.
- Implement CI/CD, DevOps/DataOps, monitoring, testing, and deployment practices.
- Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions and data architecture.
- Troubleshoot complex data incidents and drive permanent resolutions.
- Ensure data security, governance, performance, and cost optimization.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to design and code reviews.
- Establish and promote technical best practices.
- Support data platforms for Analytics, Machine Learning, and Generative AI use cases.
