Role Description The Collection Trainer is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram, responsible for developing and delivering training programs for collection teams. Daily tasks include designing training modules, conducting classroom and floor coaching sessions, and creating learning materials that align with company processes, regulatory requirements, and performance goals. The Collection Trainer will monitor agent performance, identify skill gaps, and implement targeted training interventions to improve recovery efficiency, customer communication, and adherence to compliance standards. This role also involves collaborating with operations, quality, and product teams to integrate best practices, feedback, and data insights into training content. The Trainer will regularly assess training effectiveness and update programs to reflect evolving business needs and industry trends.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in collection operations, recovery processes, or contact center environments, with the ability to translate operational needs into effective training programs.
- Strong skills in training design and delivery, including creating structured modules, presentations, and coaching frameworks for diverse learner groups.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to facilitate interactive sessions, provide constructive feedback, and motivate team members.
- Analytical capabilities to review performance metrics, identify training gaps, and use data to refine content and training methods.
- Working knowledge of debt collection regulations, compliance requirements, and customer-centric practices in financial services or lending.
- Comfort with using digital tools, learning platforms, and basic productivity software to manage training schedules, content, and reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a background in business, finance, or training and development is an advantage.
- Prior experience as a trainer, team lead, or mentor in collections or financial services is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Gurugram, manage multiple training batches, and adapt to a fast-paced, evolving environment.
