Role Description The Civil Structural Engineer will be responsible for designing and reviewing structural systems for automatic multi-level car and bike parking projects, ensuring safety, stability, and compliance with relevant codes and standards. Day-to-day tasks include performing structural analysis, preparing detailed engineering drawings and calculations, coordinating with design, manufacturing, and site teams, and providing technical support during erection and commissioning. The role involves participating in site inspections, resolving structural issues, optimizing designs for cost and efficiency, and contributing to project planning and timelines. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, requiring close collaboration with cross-functional engineering and project teams.
Qualifications
- Civil Engineering and Structural Engineering skills, with a strong foundation in core engineering principles.
- Proficiency in Civil Engineering Design and Structural Analysis for steel and concrete structures, preferably for industrial or parking systems.
- Project Management skills to plan, coordinate, and monitor engineering activities across design, manufacturing, and site execution.
- Experience with relevant design codes and standards, and familiarity with structural design software (e.g., STAAD, ETABS, or similar).
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on-site.
- Prior experience in industrial, infrastructure, or specialized parking system projects is an advantage.
