Role Description This full-time Civil Engineer role is focused on Germany opportunities and is based on-site in Germany. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing civil engineering projects aligned with German standards and requirements. Day-to-day tasks include preparing detailed civil engineering designs, coordinating stormwater management solutions, and collaborating with project teams to ensure technical accuracy and compliance with relevant codes. The role also involves communicating project progress, preparing technical reports, and supporting documentation for international project and immigration processes. The Civil Engineer will work closely with consultants and clients to align engineering solutions with project goals and regulatory expectations.
Qualifications
- Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design skills, with the ability to prepare and review technical drawings and project plans
- Experience working as Civil Engineers on infrastructure or construction projects, with strong project coordination abilities
- Planning skills for civil works, including site layout, resource allocation, and scheduling
- Knowledge of Stormwater Management, drainage design, and related environmental considerations
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline
- Familiarity with international or German engineering standards and codes is an advantage
- Proficiency with civil engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or equivalent)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work in cross-cultural teams
- Willingness to relocate or engage with opportunities connected to Germany, and openness to learning language or regulatory requirements as needed
