Role Description The Civil Engineer will work full time on-site in Kolkata, overseeing the design, planning, and execution of civil works related to landscaping, site development, and associated infrastructure. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing civil engineering designs, reviewing drawings and specifications, coordinating with contractors and vendors, and ensuring work is completed in line with safety and quality standards. The role involves conducting site inspections, assessing stormwater management needs, and recommending practical solutions for drainage and grading. The Civil Engineer will also support project planning, cost estimation, and documentation, while collaborating with internal teams to deliver efficient and sustainable project outcomes.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Civil Engineering Design and practical application of Civil Engineering principles.
- Experience working as Civil Engineers on site-based projects, including planning and coordination activities.
- Knowledge of Stormwater Management, drainage systems, and related environmental considerations.
- Proficiency in project Planning, including scheduling, resource allocation, and documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations applicable to civil works.
- Ability to use design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD or similar tools) and basic project management software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively on-site and in teams.
