About the Role
Pharma MNC is expanding its Global Shared Services Centre (SSC) to support the finance operations of its French entity - European pharmaceutical business.
We are looking for highly motivated Fresh to 2 years Qualified Chartered Accountants to join the Record-to-Report (RTR)team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a multinational finance environment, supporting French legal entities while gaining hands-on experience in financial accounting, controllership, statutory reporting, and SAP-based finance operations.
This position is ideal for candidates aspiring to build a long-term career in Global Finance, Financial Controllership, and Shared Services.
Key Responsibilities
As part of the RTR & Finance Controller team, you will:
- Execute Month-End and Year-End Financial Close activities.
- Prepare and post Journal Entries in SAP
- Perform General Ledger accounting and Balance Sheet reconciliations.
- Support Fixed Assets accounting, capitalization, depreciation, transfers, and disposals.
- Assist Treasury accounting, cash management, and bank reconciliations & & Handle Factoring / Invoice discounting
- Prepare financial schedules and support statutory and internal audits.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and corporate governance requirements.
- Support Audit by co-ordinating with Statutory Auditors
- Work closely with Finance Controllers supporting French entities.
- Analyze financial data and investigate accounting variances.
- Support reporting requirements and management financial analysis.
- Participate in process improvement and finance transformation initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Europe and India.

Desired Candidate Profile
- 0-2 years - Qualified Chartered Accountant.
- Strong conceptual knowledge of Financial Accounting and Corporate Reporting.
- Good understanding of Financial Statements and General Ledger accounting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work with global teams in a Shared Services environment.
- High level of ownership, accuracy, and attention to detail.
