Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Chartered Accountant at Quantify Terminal. The Chartered Accountant will manage and oversee financial reporting, bookkeeping, and preparation of statutory accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing periodic financial statements, managing budgeting and forecasting, performing variance and profitability analysis, and maintaining internal financial controls. The role also involves supporting tax planning and compliance, collaborating with product and operations teams to interpret financial data, and providing insights that help guide business decisions. The Chartered Accountant will work closely with leadership to monitor financial performance, optimize cost structures, and support audits and investor reporting as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong technical accounting skills, including financial reporting, general ledger management, and preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling to support decision-making and strategic planning.
- Knowledge of tax regulations, compliance requirements, and audit processes, with the ability to coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors.
- Proficiency with accounting and finance tools (e.g., Excel, accounting software, ERP systems) and comfort working with data from financial and market platforms.
- Recognized Chartered Accountant qualification (e.g., CA, ACCA, CPA) and a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a high standard of accuracy in financial documentation.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment; experience in fintech or capital markets is an advantage.
