Freelance CG Compositor
We are seeking a talented Freelance CG Compositor to join our production pipeline. The ideal candidate will be responsible for seamlessly integrating 3D elements, rendered layers, and visual effects into final high-quality shots.
Key Responsibilities
- Composite multi-pass 3D renders (lighting, depth, ambient occlusion, specularity, etc.) with 2D elements.
- Ensure visual consistency, color matching, depth integration, and photorealistic/stylized lighting aesthetics.
- Handle keying, rotoscoping, matte painting integration, and cleanup work as required.
- Collaborate closely with the lighting and animation teams to deliver shots on tight project timelines.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CG Compositor in animation, visual effects, or commercial production.
- Strong proficiency in industry-standard compositing software (e.g., Nuke, After Effects, Fusion).
- Deep understanding of multi-pass 3D rendering workflows, color management (ACES/linear space), and visual storytelling.
- High attention to detail, quick problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
