PURPOSE OF JOB
We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled POS Certification to join our POS Certification Team. The ideal candidate
should have hands-on experience with POS terminals and Payment switch, a solid understanding of ISO8583 messaging, and
a good grasp of transaction processing in a payment environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform certification and functional testing of POS terminals.
• Analyze and troubleshoot ISO8583 messages for different transaction types.
• Validate and verify EMV tags and their behavior during transaction flow.
• Work closely with switching platforms and gain a deep understanding of transaction switching.
• Execute SQL queries for data validation, test result analysis, and defect reporting.
• Participate in test planning, execution, and documentation across the testing life cycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth transaction flow and certification process.
• Provide clear and timely communication regarding testing progress, issues, and risks.
QUALIFICATION/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
• 2-4 years of required relevant experience.,
• Strong knowledge of ISO8583 message formats and transaction types.
• Hands-on experience with POS terminal testing and behavior validation.
• Familiarity with EMV tags and their usage in chip card transactions.
• Working knowledge of Linux environments and any payment switch (e.g. ITM, Electra,IST,EPH etc.).
• Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries.
• Strong understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC) and end-to-end transaction flow.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Must Have Skills:
ISO 8583 Knowledge
SQL/PLSQL Knowledge
Awareness on Testing Lifecycle & Certification Implementation
Mastercard/Visa/One simulator and other tools knowledge
