Role Description The Representative role at GDGonCampus MRUH is a full-time, on-site position located in Hyderabad. The Representative will help plan, organize, and execute community events such as workshops, meetups, and hackathons, coordinating logistics and communication with participants and partners. This role includes promoting GDG activities on campus and online, managing social media updates, and encouraging student engagement with GDG resources and initiatives. The Representative will collaborate with core team members to identify topics of interest, support speakers and mentors, and collect feedback to improve future events. Day-to-day tasks involve community outreach, coordination with university stakeholders, maintaining an active presence at events, and contributing ideas to strengthen the developer community.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse student and developer audiences.
- Organizational and event coordination abilities, including planning, scheduling, and managing on-site activities.
- Basic understanding of technology and developer ecosystems (e.g., programming, web or app development, or related interests).
- Comfort with social media and digital communication tools to promote events and share updates.
- Demonstrated initiative, reliability, and willingness to take ownership of tasks in a collaborative environment.
- Current enrollment at Malla Reddy University Hyderabad or strong familiarity with the campus community is preferred.
- Prior experience in student clubs, tech communities, or organizing campus events is a plus.
