The Caregiver role at CELEDON PVT LTD is a full-time, on-site position for candidates based in Kerala, India. We are primarily looking for caring, responsible, and dependable individuals who are currently residing in Kerala and are interested in providing professional care to individuals and families in their local communities.
The caregiver will assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and other personal care needs while promoting independence and dignity wherever possible.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing compassionate personal care and assistance with daily activities.
- Supporting clients with mobility, positioning, and other physical care needs.
- Monitoring clients’ general well-being and reporting any significant changes.
- Following individual care plans and instructions provided by supervisors or healthcare professionals.
- Providing companionship and emotional support in a respectful and professional manner.
- Assisting with meal preparation and feeding when required.
- Supporting light housekeeping and maintaining a clean, comfortable, and safe environment.
- Communicating appropriately with clients, their families, supervisors, and other care team members.
- Maintaining basic records and documenting relevant observations.
- Following company safety, hygiene, confidentiality, and caregiving standards.
Who We Are Looking For
We are mainly looking for candidates residing in Kerala who have a genuine interest in caregiving and supporting elderly individuals, new mothers, patients, and families who require assistance at home.
Candidates should be compassionate, patient, trustworthy, responsible, and comfortable working directly with clients in a home-care environment.
Qualifications
- Ability to provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassion, patience, empathy, and a respectful attitude toward clients.
- Basic understanding of health, hygiene, and safety practices.
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions carefully.
- Ability to observe, document, and report relevant changes in a client's condition.
- Physical ability to assist with mobility, repositioning, and other care-related tasks when required.
- Prior experience as a caregiver, nursing assistant, home-care worker, or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Relevant caregiving, nursing assistance, home-health, or other care-related training or certification is an advantage.
- Must be currently residing in Kerala or be willing to work in Kerala.
- Willingness to work full-time on-site, including occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays depending on client requirements.
