Responsibilities:
- Develop 3D CAD models of mechanical components and assemblies.
- Prepare 2D engineering drawings with dimensions, tolerances, and manufacturing details.
- Support mechanical design iterations and engineering documentation.
- Assist with prototype fabrication, assembly, inspection, and testing.
- Apply basic DFM/DFA, GD&T, tolerancing, and mechanical design principles.
- Maintain organized CAD files, drawings, and design revisions.
Qualifications:
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Aerospace, Mechatronics, Production/Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in at least one CAD platform: SolidWorks, CATIA, Siemens NX, Creo, Inventor, or Fusion 360.
- Understanding of 3D modelling, assemblies, 2D drawings, GD&T, tolerancing, fits, and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to prepare engineering drawings and design documentation.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with Blender, 3D printing, prototyping, or aerospace/mechanical design projects is an added advantage.
- Academic or personal CAD projects, prototypes, or a portfolio are encouraged.
