Position: CA /Inter CA – Compliance Executive | Location : Thaltej, Ahmedabad | Compensation: upto 10 LPA | Notice Period: Immediate preferred first
Qualification
• CA/CA Intermediate
• 1–4 years of relevant experience in finance, taxation, statutory compliance, audit, or corporate compliance.
• Experience in the real estate, infrastructure, manufacturing, or corporate sector will be preferred.
Job Summary:
The Compliance Executive will be responsible for ensuring timely statutory, regulatory, tax, and corporate compliances of the organization. The role requires coordination with internal departments, consultants, auditors, and government authorities to ensure full compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Statutory & Regulatory Compliance
• Ensure timely compliance under Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST, FEMA, Labour Laws, and other applicable regulations.
• Maintain statutory registers, records, and compliance calendars.
• Track amendments in applicable laws and implement necessary changes.
GST & Tax Compliance
• Preparation and review of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual returns, reconciliation, etc.).
• Reconciliation of GST Input Tax Credit with vendor records.
• Coordination for GST assessments, notices, and departmental queries.
• Assist in TDS computation, deduction, deposit, return filing, and reconciliations.
• Support income tax compliance and tax audit requirements.
Corporate Compliance
• Assist in Board Meetings, Committee Meetings, and Annual General Meetings.
• Coordinate ROC filings, annual filings, and corporate secretarial documentation.
• Liaise with Company Secretaries for statutory filings.
Financial Compliance
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal financial controls.
• Review compliance relating to vendor payments, statutory deductions, and accounting procedures.
• Preparation of financial statements and schedules.
Audit Coordination
• Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, tax auditors, and consultants.
• Prepare audit schedules and documentation.
• Ensure timely closure of audit observations.
Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain proper documentation of statutory records and compliance filings.
• Prepare periodic compliance status reports for management.
• Develop and monitor compliance checklists and trackers.
Liaison & Coordination
• Coordinate with government departments, consultants, auditors, banks, and legal professionals.
• Follow up on statutory approvals, registrations, licenses, and renewals.
Desired Skills
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and Companies Act compliances.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Tally, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent documentation and reporting abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple compliance deadlines simultaneously.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
