Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chartered Accountant role based in Ahmedabad. The Chartered Accountant will handle statutory and tax audits, support direct tax planning and compliance, and assist with corporate advisory assignments. Daily responsibilities include preparing and reviewing financial statements, ensuring adherence to accounting standards, managing tax filings, and supporting bank audits and due diligence exercises. The role also involves interacting with clients to clarify requirements, provide guidance on financial and regulatory matters, and contribute to management consultancy projects. The Chartered Accountant will work closely with partners and team members to deliver accurate, timely, and compliant professional services.
Qualifications
- Professional expertise in accounting and audit, including statutory audits, tax audits, and preparation/review of financial statements in line with applicable standards.
- Strong knowledge of direct tax laws, corporate taxation, and compliance requirements, with experience in tax planning and return filing.
- Ability to support corporate advisory, bank audits, due diligence, and management consultancy with sound analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software, MS Excel, and related tools for data analysis, reporting, and documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and internal teams.
- Chartered Accountant qualification (CA) with valid membership; relevant post-qualification experience in practice or industry is preferred.
- Strong ethical standards, attention to detail, and commitment to accuracy and compliance in all professional work.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage deadlines, and adapt to a dynamic, growth-oriented firm environment.
