Role Description The CA – Compliance and SEBI role is a full-time, on-site position based in Navi Mumbai. The role involves managing regulatory compliance related to SEBI and other applicable laws, including reviewing and interpreting regulations, circulars, and guidelines, and implementing appropriate internal controls. The professional will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and filing regulatory reports and documentation, ensuring timely and accurate submissions to relevant authorities. Day-to-day tasks include conducting compliance audits, monitoring adherence to internal policies, advising on risk mitigation, and supporting liaisoning activities with regulators and stakeholders. The role also includes collaborating with internal teams on process improvements, providing compliance training where needed, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of changes in SEBI and other financial regulations.
Qualifications
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with demonstrated experience in compliance, audit, and regulatory reporting.
- Strong knowledge of SEBI regulations, securities laws, and related financial market regulatory frameworks.
- Experience in internal and external audits, risk assessment, and implementation of compliance controls.
- Ability to interpret and apply regulatory guidelines, draft policies and procedures, and prepare accurate documentation.
- Proficiency with MS Office and relevant compliance or financial software tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex regulations to non-specialists.
- Capability to work on-site in Navi Mumbai, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Prior experience in consulting, financial services, or safety/compliance-focused organizations is an advantage.
