Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad for Business Tax Return Managers and Individual Tax Return Managers. The role involves managing end-to-end tax return processes for business and individual clients, including planning, preparation, review, and compliance with relevant US tax regulations. Responsibilities include analyzing financial information, identifying tax-saving opportunities, ensuring timely filings, and addressing client queries related to tax matters. The position requires close collaboration with US CPA firm teams, maintaining accurate documentation, and contributing to process improvements and quality controls. The role also includes mentoring junior team members, supporting knowledge sharing, and adhering to firm standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong tax planning skills with the ability to identify optimization opportunities for business and individual clients.
- Hands-on experience in tax compliance, including managing filing deadlines and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in tax preparation for US business and individual returns, with attention to accuracy and detail.
- Sound understanding of tax law and regulations applicable to US entities and individuals.
- Broad knowledge of tax concepts, methodologies, and best practices across different client profiles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field; professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, EA, or equivalent are an advantage.
- Experience working with US CPA firms or in US taxation processes preferred.
- Ability to lead teams, manage multiple engagements, and work effectively in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
- Strong analytical, communication, and client service skills, with a commitment to ethical and compliant practices.
- Comfort with cloud-based tools, tax software, and collaboration platforms; familiarity with automation and data analytics is beneficial.
