Role Description The Business Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Khurda. The Business Manager will oversee daily business operations, including coordinating with dealers, managing inventory and supply chain activities, and monitoring sales performance. Responsibilities include setting and tracking business targets, analyzing market trends, preparing periodic reports, and supporting pricing and promotion strategies. The role also involves leading and developing the local team, ensuring compliance with company policies, and maintaining strong relationships with key partners and stakeholders to drive business growth in the region.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong business management and operations skills, including experience in supervising teams and managing day-to-day commercial activities.
- Candidates should possess skills in sales planning, dealer relationship management, and market analysis, preferably within the automobile or spare parts sector.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in data-driven decision-making, including basic financial understanding, reporting, and use of spreadsheets or business software.
- Candidates should possess solid communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Candidates should possess strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- A bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, management, or a related field is preferred; relevant experience in distribution or automotive business will be an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Khurda, travel within the region as needed, and adapt to evolving business requirements.
