Our focus is on building long-term client partnerships, delivering measurable business outcomes, and making workforce solutions more efficient, flexible, and reliable.
We are looking for ambitious, commercially driven professionals to join our Business Development team in Delhi NCR and help expand Recrivio's client base across India and international markets.
Role Overview
As a Business Development Specialist / Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, acquiring clients, developing strategic relationships, and driving revenue growth for Recrivio's talent solutions business.
This is a new-business-focused, target-driven role suited to professionals who enjoy prospecting, engaging decision-makers, understanding business requirements, negotiating commercial terms, and converting opportunities into long-term client relationships.
The designation and scope of responsibility will depend on your experience, demonstrated capabilities, and track record.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Identify, prospect, and acquire new clients across relevant industries and business segments.
- Build a strong pipeline of opportunities through cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn, networking, referrals, and industry events.
- Own the sales cycle from initial outreach and discovery to proposal, negotiation, closure, and account handover.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly targets for qualified meetings, new client acquisition, and revenue.
2. Client Relationship Management
- Build relationships with founders, CHROs, HR Heads, Talent Acquisition leaders, business heads, and other key decision-makers.
- Understand clients' workforce challenges, hiring plans, and business priorities to recommend suitable talent solutions.
- Develop long-term partnerships that generate repeat business and expand account value.
- Maintain consistent communication with prospects and clients throughout the sales cycle.
3. Solution Selling
- Position Recrivio's capabilities across permanent hiring, contract staffing, staff augmentation, and offshore team building.
- Understand client requirements and collaborate with internal recruitment and delivery teams to develop suitable proposals.
- Present commercial proposals, negotiate pricing and contractual terms, and drive opportunities to closure.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and expanding existing client relationships.
4. Market Research & Pipeline Management
- Map target companies, industries, decision-makers, and potential business opportunities in Delhi NCR and other markets.
- Maintain accurate prospect, pipeline, and activity records in the CRM.
- Track sales performance, conversion rates, deal cycles, and pipeline health.
- Share market intelligence, client feedback, and competitor insights to improve business development strategies.
5. Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with recruitment, talent delivery, and leadership teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and effective service delivery.
- Establish clear expectations with clients regarding requirements, timelines, commercials, and deliverables.
- Take ownership of client relationships and ensure opportunities translate into sustainable business outcomes.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: 4-10 years in business development, B2B sales, enterprise sales, staffing, recruitment solutions, HR services, or a related field.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Demonstrated ability to prospect independently, generate leads, and convert opportunities into business.
- A target-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Comfort with cold outreach, handling objections, following up consistently, and managing the complete sales cycle.
- Ability to understand client requirements and articulate business value rather than simply sell a service.
- Familiarity with CRM tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, sales automation tools, or structured outbound processes is an advantage.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with ambitious growth goals.
