Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi for a Business Development Manager. The role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities, nurturing relationships with existing and potential clients, and promoting Green Nest’s eco-friendly packaging solutions across target industries. The Business Development Manager will conduct market research, analyze industry trends, and develop strategic sales plans to meet revenue and growth targets. Daily responsibilities include preparing proposals, delivering presentations, negotiating contracts, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align offerings with customer needs, and maintaining accurate sales and pipeline reports. The person in this role will also represent the company at industry events and work closely with leadership to refine go-to-market strategies.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability in business development, sales, and client relationship management within B2B or industrial sectors.
- Strong skills in market research, opportunity analysis, and strategic planning for new and existing markets.
- Effective communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Experience collaborating with operations, product, and marketing teams to tailor solutions to customer requirements.
- Background or strong interest in sustainable, eco-friendly products or packaging solutions is highly beneficial.
- Proven ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet set targets and deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Prior experience in packaging, logistics, or industrial supply chains is preferred.
