We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive client acquisition and business growth in Bulk Waste Generator (BWG) and Solid Waste Management services.
The ideal candidate should have strong B2B sales, client acquisition, commercial negotiation, and relationship management Skills, along with practical knowledge of solid waste management.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify and acquire new BWG clients and business opportunities
• Develop clients across 5-star/luxury hotels, malls, commercial buildings, IT parks, corporate offices, hospitals, institutions, RWAs, housing societies, and industries
• Conduct client meetings, site visits, requirement assessments, and prepare proposals/quotations
• Lead commercial negotiations, contract closures, renewals, and account expansion
• Build relationships with Facility Managers, Procurement Heads, EHS/Environmental Heads, Property Managers, and RWA/Society Committees
• Coordinate with technical and operations teams for collection, segregation, recycling, composting, processing, and disposal solutions
• Explore government/municipal tenders and projects while achieving sales and revenue targets.
✅ 5–10 years of experience in Waste Management, Environmental Services, Facility Management, Sustainability, or related industries
✅ 3+ years of B2B Business Development/Client Acquisition experience preferred
✅ Strong understanding of BWG, Solid Waste Management & environmental compliance
✅ Experience handling hospitality, commercial, residential/RWA, industrial, or institutional clients
✅ Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills
✅ Existing industry network will be an advantage
✅ Willingness to travel across India
