Job details:
Anixon Consulting is looking for a Business Development Executive - Zoho Sales who can own and grow our Zoho CRM/ERP implementation and consulting business.
This is not a software licence-selling role.
We are looking for someone who understands how to sell Zoho CRM Implementation, Consulting, Automation, and Professional Services engagements by first understanding a customer's business, sales processes, challenges, and desired outcomes.
You may come from the Zoho, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, HubSpot, ERP, Business Applications, Digital Transformation, or IT Consulting ecosystem. What matters most is your ability to sell solutions and implementation engagements and not just products.
You will initially operate as a hands-on individual contributor, owning opportunities from qualification through closure. As the business scales, you will have the opportunity to build and lead the sales function.
You will own:
- New business development and revenue generation
- Qualification of inbound and outbound opportunities
- Discovery and exploration conversations with prospects
- Understanding business and sales-process requirements
- Working with Business Analysts and Solution Consultants to develop the right solution
- Creating and presenting commercial proposals and Statements of Work (SOWs)
- Managing objections, negotiations and commercial discussions
- Closing CRM implementation and consulting engagements
- Maintaining a disciplined CRM pipeline and revenue forecast
- Developing relationships with founders, CXOs, Sales Heads and other decision-makers
- Creating new-logo opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals and partnerships
- Ensuring a structured handover from Sales to the Delivery team
We would particularly like to speak with candidates who have:
- 3+ years of B2B technology / IT services sales experience
- Experience selling CRM, ERP, Business Applications, Digital Transformation, Implementation, Consulting or Professional Services
- Personally managed a complete B2B sales cycle from prospecting/discovery to proposal, negotiation and closure
- Experience conducting discovery conversations with senior business stakeholders
- Strong understanding of consultative and solution selling
- Experience preparing or commercially owning proposals, estimates and SOWs
- Ability to work closely with pre-sales, Business Analysts and Delivery teams
- Strong pipeline management and forecasting discipline
- Ability to operate independently and build a sales function as the business grows
Experience with any of the following ecosystems would be valuable:
Zoho / Salesforce / Microsoft Dynamics 365 / HubSpot / CRM / ERP / Business Applications / Automation / Digital Transformation / IT Consulting / Professional Services
Prior Zoho experience is an advantage, but it is not mandatory. We are more interested in your ability to sell complex implementation and consulting engagements.
We need someone who is comfortable creating opportunities, understanding business problems and taking deals through to closure.
We want strong performers to have the opportunity to earn well beyond their fixed compensation.
The upside is directly connected to revenue performance and successful deal closures.
If you have sold CRM / ERP / implementation / consulting / professional services engagements, we'd like to hear from you.
When applying, please share:
- The type of solutions or professional services you have sold.
- Your typical and largest deal size.
- Your individual annual sales/revenue target.
- The approximate percentage of your pipeline that you generated yourself.
- One CRM/ERP/technology implementation deal that you personally helped take from discovery to closure.
We are particularly interested in people who can demonstrate what they personally sold and closed, rather than only the performance of the team they worked with.
