Job details:
Admission Counsellor / Program Advisor / Business Development Executive (Sales)
π Gurgaon | π Full-Time | π Experience: 2β6 Years | Reports to: Founder
Mastry (formerly Design Sundays) is India's most selective UI/UX design community. We don't just run UI/UX Design - we help learners with career transformation.
Our live cohort programs - Product Design Launchpad, AI-Powered UI/UX Designer, and more - are 5 β 18 week intensive, mentor-led experiences designed to help working professionals and students shift careers, build world-class portfolios, and land roles that actually excite them. Our programs run between βΉ35,000 - βΉ85,000+.
Not everyone who applies gets in. That's intentional. And that's where you come in.
We don't just accept learners. We earn their trust first. That's the standard we hold ourselves to - and the standard we're hiring for.
The Role
You'll be the bridge between aspiring designers and the career transformation they're looking for. Your job is to help them find clarity, build confidence, and make decisions that change the direction of their careers - not push them into a purchase.
This is a high-ownership, high-impact role. You'll work directly with the Founder and Marketing team, and your work will directly shape how Mastry grows.
What You'll Own
Lead qualification (before the call)
- Review every incoming lead - source, background, financial readiness
- Categorize leads into Hot, Warm, and Cold, and build a prioritized daily call list
Pre-call nurture
- Send WhatsApp and email touchpoints before every call - reminders, alumni outcomes, case studies, social proof
- Frame every call as a Career Clarity Call, not a demo
The sales call - where 70% of your impact lives
- Build context, identify the real pain, and help prospects feel the gap between where they are and where they want to be
- Qualify seriously on time, budget, and intent
- Position outcomes, portfolio, and job support - not just features
- Handle objections by diagnosing, not defending
- Close with clarity: pay now, block the seat, next steps
Follow-up system
- Run a structured, personalized follow-up sequence (recap, objection handling, urgency, last call) - this is where the majority of revenue lives
CRM & pipeline management
- Track every lead and keep pipeline stages updated (Booked β Attended β Qualified β Follow-up β Closed)
- Keep the pipeline clean enough to forecast revenue at any point
Feedback loop to Marketing
- Flag lead quality issues weekly - wrong audience, pricing confusion, messaging gaps - and help shape landing pages, ad copy, and targeting
Your Daily & Weekly Rhythm
Daily: 10β15 sales/career clarity calls, 20β30 follow-ups, lead qualification, and CRM updates after every interaction.
Weekly: Review conversion rates, identify top objection categories, and share insights with the Founder and Marketing team.
Who You Are
Must-haves:
- 2-6 years of consultative sales experience, with at least one role selling a product/service priced above βΉ35,000
- Fluent in English and Hindi (spoken and written) - Marathi or other regional languages are a plus
- Experience in ed-tech, online education, or career-services sales is a strong advantage
- Comfortable with high-volume calling (~50 calls/day) without losing conversation quality
- Familiar with Google Sheets, WhatsApp Business, and basic CRM workflows
You think like this:
- You understand before you pitch
- You sell outcomes, not curriculum
- You build trust in 5 minutes on a call
- You treat follow-up as a craft, not a chore
- You understand that a βΉ1L decision takes clarity - not pressure
Why Mastry
- Work directly with the Founder - your voice shapes the sales function
- Be part of a mission-driven community raising the bar for design education in India
- Help people make one of the most important decisions of their careers and see real outcomes
- Clear ownership, real responsibility, and fast growth opportunities
About Mastry
Mastry (formerly Design Sundays) is a design community bringing the best of the industry to share experience, impart knowledge, and inspire curiosity among learners. We envision a world where problem-solving with design skills isn't limited to design and art schools that put students in thousands of dollars of debt. We're building an ecosystem for accessible design education - and for every paid event, a share of the proceeds goes to NGOs and entities that improve lives.
