About the Role
Vertech Health Solutions India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Area Sales Manager (ASM) to drive sales and market expansion in Chennai and the surrounding market.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in the Home Healthcare / Medical Devices / Healthcare Consumer Products segment, with an established network among retailers, wholesalers, distributors and dealers.
Candidates who have handled products such as BP Monitors, Massagers, Breast Pumps, Thermometers and other home healthcare/medical products will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and achieve sales targets for the assigned Chennai territory.
Manage and expand the company's dealer, distributor, wholesale and retail network.
Develop new distributors and retailers to increase market reach.
Maintain strong relationships with existing distributors, wholesalers and retailers.
Drive primary and secondary sales across the assigned territory.
Conduct regular market visits and identify new business opportunities.
Monitor competitor activities, pricing and market trends.
Ensure proper product visibility and availability across the market.
Coordinate with distributors and retailers for stock movement and sales growth.
Generate regular sales reports and provide market feedback to management.
Support product promotion and brand-building activities in the territory.
Work towards achieving monthly and annual sales targets.
Candidate Requirements
3–6 years of relevant experience in Home Healthcare / Medical Devices / Healthcare Products / Pharma OTC / Consumer Healthcare.
Experience selling products such as:
BP Machines / BP Monitors
Massagers
Breast Pumps
Thermometers
Pulse Oximeters
Nebulizers
Glucometers
Other Home Healthcare & Medical Devices
Strong existing network among retailers, wholesalers, distributors and dealers in Chennai.
Experience handling both retail and wholesale/distributor markets.
Strong knowledge of the Chennai healthcare/medical products market.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Strong negotiation, communication and relationship-management skills.
Ability to independently manage the assigned territory and develop new markets.
Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as required.
Preferred Candidate
We would strongly prefer candidates who are already working in the Home Healthcare / Medical Devices / Consumer Healthcare segment and have an active market network in Chennai.
Candidates with experience handling medical/healthcare products through distributors, wholesalers and retail channels will have an added advantage.
Compensation
💰 CTC: ₹5–6 LPA
The final compensation will depend on the candidate's experience, current CTC, market exposure and relevant industry background.
