About Counsel Union
Counsel Union is a practical psychology learning EdTech platform offering career-focused psychology programs for students, graduates and working professionals. Our programs focus on practical learning, professional skill development and expert-led training across multiple psychology specialisations.
We are looking for a confident and target-oriented Business Development Associate who can understand prospective students' requirements, guide them towards the right psychology program and convert qualified enquiries into successful enrollments.
Key Responsibilities
• Connect with prospective students through phone calls, WhatsApp, Zoom or Google Meet.
• Understand each candidate's educational background, career goals and course requirements through proper profiling.
• Counsel students about Counsel Union's psychology courses, curriculum, eligibility, duration, fees and career opportunities.
• Recommend the most suitable program based on the student's profile and objectives.
• Handle queries and objections related to course fees, certification, curriculum, career scope and learning format.
• Follow up consistently with interested leads and convert qualified enquiries into enrollments.
• Achieve daily, weekly and monthly admission and revenue targets.
• Maintain accurate lead information, follow-up notes and stages in the CRM.
• Build and manage an active sales and admissions pipeline.
• Follow up on pending payments and support candidates through the admission process.
• Maintain strong relationships with prospective students throughout the counselling journey.
• Prepare daily and weekly performance reports when required.
• Share feedback on lead quality, customer concerns and market trends with the marketing and management teams.
Requirements
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good counselling, profiling and pitching ability.
• Strong follow-up and objection-handling skills.
• Comfortable working in a target-driven sales environment.
• Active listener with good understanding and grasping ability.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and basic sales processes.
• Ability to manage multiple leads and follow-ups efficiently.
• Prior experience in EdTech, education counselling, admissions or inside sales will be preferred.
• Psychology or education industry exposure will be an added advantage.
• Comfortable working from the office and interacting with different people every day.
