Centre for Global Affairs & Public Policy (CGAPP) is a nonprofit organization working at the intersection of startups, climate innovation, public policy, and ecosystem development.
We work with startups, businesses, investors, institutions, and ecosystem stakeholders to support innovation, partnerships, knowledge creation, and real-world implementation across emerging sectors.
Our work spans startup support, business partnerships, ecosystem initiatives, research, communications, and events, providing exposure to a diverse range of projects and stakeholders.
Role Description
We are looking for a Business Development & Content Writing Intern to support our team across business development, partnerships, content, research, and ecosystem initiatives.
The intern will:
- Support business development and partnership outreach
- Assist with stakeholder communication and follow-ups
- Research startups, sectors, companies, and emerging opportunities
- Write and develop content for LinkedIn, newsletters, articles, events, and other communication formats
- Support events, ecosystem engagements, and meetings
- Assist with ongoing research, outreach, and project-related activities
- Contribute to different projects and thematic areas based on organizational requirements
- Work closely with the team on real-world projects and initiatives
This is a hands-on role designed for someone who wants to learn by doing and gain exposure to multiple aspects of working with startups, businesses, and ecosystems.
Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good research and information-gathering abilities
- Interest in startups, business development, partnerships, content, and emerging sectors
- Ability to write clearly and adapt content for different audiences and formats
- Proactive attitude with the ability to take initiative
- Comfortable communicating with different stakeholders professionally
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team
- Good attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Students and recent graduates are welcome to apply
- Prior experience in content writing, business development, research, startups, or events is an advantage but not mandatory
