We are looking for an AI Business Analyst with strong manufacturing and business operations experience to identify, define, and deliver high-value AI/ML and GenAI use cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze manufacturing workflows to identify AI, automation, and decision-support opportunities.
- Translate business needs into AI use cases, requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and success metrics.
- Assess data quality, availability, coverage, and feasibility for AI/ML initiatives.
- Partner with data scientists, engineers, and business teams to validate AI solutions and business outcomes.
- Define KPIs and measure value through efficiency gains, cost savings, revenue impact, accuracy, adoption, and user satisfaction.
- Communicate AI concepts, risks, trade-offs, and outcomes to technical and executive stakeholders.
- Support AI product vision, roadmap, prioritization, and value realization.
- Identify and address responsible AI risks including bias, fairness, privacy, transparency, and compliance.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, Process Analyst, or similar role in manufacturing/business operations.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing, supply chain, inventory, procurement, sales, pricing, and finance processes.
- Working knowledge of AI/ML concepts, GenAI, model performance metrics, and responsible AI.
- Strong business analysis skills including requirements gathering, process mapping, workshops, user stories, and solution validation.
- Experience assessing data quality and feasibility for analytics/AI initiatives.
- Proficiency with Azure cloud and analytics tools.
- Strong prompt engineering skills and experience using GenAI for business analysis and documentation.
- Excellent stakeholder management and technical communication skills.
- Experience defining business cases, KPIs, and technology/analytics value realization.
Preferred Skills
- Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Azure Data Services.
- Experience with AI/ML, predictive analytics, or GenAI projects.
- SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics ERP experience.
- Lean/Six Sigma or continuous improvement experience.
- Knowledge of AI governance, privacy, security, and compliance.
