We are looking for an accomplished Branch Head – Broking & Wealth Management to lead our Bengaluru branch and play a key role in expanding the branch's business, client base and revenue.
Role Overview
The Branch Head will be responsible for overall branch leadership, business development and revenue generation, with strong expertise in Broking as the primary requirement, supported by experience in Wealth Management and other financial products.
The ideal candidate should have a strong market network, proven client acquisition capabilities and the ability to build, lead and scale a high-performing sales team.
Key Responsibilities
Take complete ownership of branch business, revenue and profitability.
Drive growth across Broking, Equity, Trading, Demat and related financial products.
Lead client acquisition and relationship development across Retail, HNI and Corporate segments.
Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned market.
Leverage existing market relationships and build a strong local client and referral network.
Drive cross-selling and upselling of Wealth Management and other financial products/services.
Set branch-level business targets and ensure consistent achievement of revenue and profitability goals.
Recruit, mentor, coach and manage the branch sales team to deliver business objectives.
Monitor team performance through structured reviews, sales pipelines and business metrics.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, channel partners, distributors, referral partners and key business associates.
Develop and execute market-specific strategies to strengthen Alankit's presence and market share.
Ensure adherence to applicable regulatory, compliance, risk and operational guidelines.
Work closely with senior management and internal teams to identify opportunities and drive branch expansion.
Candidate Profile
8+ years of relevant experience in Broking, Financial Services, Wealth Management or related sectors.
Strong and substantial experience in Broking is mandatory.
Prior experience as a Branch Head, Branch Manager, Sales Head or senior business leadership professional will be preferred.
Strong understanding of Equity, Broking, Trading, Demat and Wealth Management products.
Proven track record of business development, client acquisition and revenue generation.
Established network among HNI, retail, corporate or institutional clients will be an advantage.
Strong team leadership, people management and performance-management skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, relationship management and business development capabilities.
Ability to operate with a strong business ownership and entrepreneurial mindset.
Graduate/Postgraduate qualification in Finance, Business Management, Marketing or a related discipline preferred.
