Candy Design & Consultants (CDC) is expanding its team and is looking for experienced BIM Engineers to support exciting ME, UK & India Projects.
We are currently hiring a minimum of two (2) candidates for each discipline:
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate 2D MEP drawings using AutoCAD, including layouts, plans, sections, elevations, details, and schematics.
- Develop, update, and maintain 3D BIM models using Autodesk Revit MEP.
- Convert consultant drawings, design concepts, and mark-ups into coordinated AutoCAD drawings and Revit models.
- Produce shop drawings, fabrication drawings, coordination drawings, installation drawings, and as-built documentation.
- Ensure all drawings and models comply with project BIM standards, company CAD/BIM standards, client requirements, and LOD specifications.
- Coordinate with Architectural, Structural, Civil, and other MEP disciplines to resolve design and coordination issues.
- Incorporate consultant and contractor comments into revised drawings and models.
- Maintain drawing registers, revision histories, title blocks, sheet layouts, and project documentation.
- Ensure consistency in layer management, line weights, annotation styles, Revit families, shared parameters, templates, and naming conventions.
- Assist in developing and maintaining company CAD standards, Revit templates, libraries, and BIM workflows.
- Perform quality checks before submission to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate with Project Engineers and BIM Coordinators to achieve project deliverables within agreed timelines.
- Support quantity take-offs and model-based documentation where required.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting and Revit modeling for Mechanical/HVAC/Plumbing services.
- Proven experience on commercial, residential, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
- Strong proficiency in:
- Autodesk Revit MEP
- Autodesk AutoCAD
- Good understanding of:
- MEP systems and construction methodologies
- Level of Development (LOD)
- CAD/BIM standards and naming conventions
- Revit families, shared parameters, and templates
- Documentation workflows and sheet setup
- Ability to interpret MEP design drawings and technical specifications.
- Experience in multidisciplinary coordination and clash resolution.
- Strong attention to detail, quality, communication, and teamwork.
- Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or BIM 360 will be an added advantage.
