Role Description
The Okta Consultant role is a full-time hybrid position based in Bengaluru, with flexibility for partial work from home. This role is responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing Okta-based IAM solutions, including Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), lifecycle management, Event and Inline Hook and application integrations. Day-to-day activities include gathering requirements from stakeholders, developing technical designs, configuring Okta tenants, troubleshooting issues, and supporting deployment and maintenance of identity solutions.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving challenging technical problems, learning new technologies, and working in a fast-paced consulting environment. The candidate should have a strong "can-do" attitude, be willing to take ownership of tasks, and be comfortable working on complex customer requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in 2+ Okta administration and configuration, including SSO, MFA, user lifecycle management, and application integrations ,Inline hook, etc.
- Hands-on experience with Identity & Access Management concepts such as OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, RBAC, and federation.
- Proficiency in scripting or programming (e.g., Python, PowerShell, JavaScript) for automation and integration with Okta APIs.
- Experience working with directories (e.g., Active Directory, LDAP) and user provisioning workflows.
- Ability to perform technical requirements gathering, solution design, and documentation for IAM projects.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills in complex enterprise environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; relevant IAM or Okta certifications are a plus.
Required Skills
2+ years of hands-on Okta experience.
Good understanding of IAM concepts.

- SCIM provisioning
- Proficiency in scripting or programming (e.g., Python, PowerShell, JavaScript) for automation and integration with Okta APIs.

- Hands-on experience with Twilio integration is strongly preferred.
- Understanding of Twilio APIs, SMS, OTP, and verification workflows.
