Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Billing Engineer (Corporate Interior Fit-Out) based in Bengaluru. The Billing Engineer will be responsible for preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), verifying contractor bills, and ensuring accurate measurement and certification of work executed at project sites. The role includes rate analysis, cost estimation, and alignment of billing with contract terms, drawings, and specifications. The Billing Engineer will coordinate closely with project managers, site engineers, and quantity surveyors to track project progress, manage billing schedules, and support timely invoicing and payment follow-ups. The role also involves maintaining billing records, identifying cost variances, supporting audits, and contributing to process improvements for corporate interior fit-out projects.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong expertise in BOQ preparation and Quantity Surveying for interior fit-out or construction projects.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills for cost verification, variance analysis, and interpretation of drawings and specifications.
- Candidates should possess hands-on experience with Billing Systems, documentation, and invoice reconciliation aligned with contract terms.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Rate Analysis, cost estimation, and benchmarking of interior fit-out activities and materials.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field, with experience in corporate interior fit-out projects.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel, measurement tools, and project management documentation; familiarity with ERP or billing software is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to work collaboratively with site and project teams.
- Knowledge of relevant standards, safety practices, and contract conditions applicable to interior fit-out works.
