IRPR Agency is looking to collaborate with an experienced Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) Consultant to work with us on active and upcoming energy-storage projects.
We are already receiving BESS project enquiries and working with prospective clients across different requirements. We are looking for a domain expert who can take the lead on the technical, solution-design and advisory side of these opportunities.
IRPR will bring the opportunities and client relationships; the consultant will bring the BESS expertise required to evaluate requirements, develop solutions and help take projects forward.
Key Responsibilities
• Understand and evaluate client BESS requirements
• Conduct initial technical and project feasibility assessments
• Recommend appropriate battery technologies, system configurations and capacities
• Support BESS sizing and solution architecture
• Evaluate technical specifications and project requirements
• Advise on suitable BESS applications for C&I, renewable integration and other use cases
• Support preparation and review of technical proposals
• Participate in technical discussions and meetings with clients
• Coordinate with battery manufacturers, EPC partners, integrators and other technical stakeholders
• Review technical and commercial solutions before they are presented to clients
• Provide technical guidance throughout the project development and execution process
• Help ensure proposed solutions are technically viable and aligned with client requirements
Who We're Looking For
Professionals with hands-on experience in areas such as:
• Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
• Battery technologies and system architecture
• BESS sizing and configuration
• Solar + storage projects
• C&I and/or utility-scale energy storage
• PCS, EMS, BMS and associated BESS components
• Electrical and power-system integration
• EPC / project engineering
• Technical proposal development
• Energy-storage project implementation
Experience working directly on real BESS projects is strongly preferred.
Engagement Model
This is a project-based collaboration with a profit-sharing model, rather than a conventional fixed-salary position.IRPR Agency will bring qualified project opportunities and client requirements. The consultant will work alongside our team to provide the technical expertise required to develop and progress suitable projects.
The commercial/profit-sharing structure will be discussed based on the consultant's expertise, involvement and scope of responsibility.
