Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad for a Business Development Manager (Formulations) focusing on emerging domestic and international markets. The role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities for pharmaceutical formulations across targeted geographies. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and executing business plans, conducting market research, managing key accounts, and building strong relationships with clients, distributors, and strategic partners. The BDM will collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, regulatory, and production to ensure product alignment with market needs and compliance requirements. The role also includes preparing sales forecasts, negotiating commercial terms, tracking market trends, and contributing to the achievement of revenue and profitability targets, with a compensation of approximately ₹15 LPA.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Business Planning and New Business Development skills to drive growth in emerging domestic and international markets.
- Candidates should possess Market Research and Communication skills to analyze opportunities and effectively present solutions to stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess Account Management skills to maintain and expand relationships with key clients and partners.
- B.Pharma or M.Pharma with MBA, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical formulations business development.
- Proven experience in domestic and international market expansion, preferably in regulated and semi-regulated markets.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements, pricing, and tender business will be beneficial.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and travel as required for business meetings.
- Demonstrated negotiation, analytical, and presentation skills, with proficiency in standard business productivity tools.
