Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Java Developer with 3–5 years of hands-on experience to design, build, and maintain large-scale, cloud-based applications using Java and Spring Boot. You'll work within a collaborative, Agile environment, partnering with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into robust, scalable, high-performance solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain large-scale Java applications using Spring Boot.
- Architect and implement solutions based on Microservices design principles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
- Ensure high-quality, maintainable code by following best practices in coding standards, testing, and debugging.
- Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Contribute across the full software development life cycle (SDLC), including requirement gathering and design documentation.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous integration and deployment.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 3–5 years of professional experience in Java development.
- Strong, hands-on expertise with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
- Solid understanding of Microservices architecture design principles and implementation using Spring Boot.
- Proficiency across the SDLC, including requirement gathering and design documentation creation.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, Agile team.
Good-to-Have (Preferred) Skills
These are preferred, not mandatory — strong candidates without every item are encouraged to apply.
- Containerization and orchestration: Docker and Kubernetes.
- Databases: SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL (MongoDB).
- REST API design and development.
- Version control with Git.
- Unit and integration testing frameworks: JUnit and Mockito.
- Familiarity with messaging/streaming (e.g., Kafka) and ORM frameworks (JPA/Hibernate).
