Software Development Engineer (SDE I)
Location -Gurgaon –HYBRID

Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Windows desktop applications using C++, Qt, and QML.
- Build efficient, reusable, and reliable software components with a focus on performance and scalability.
- Identify performance bottlenecks, diagnose issues, and implement robust solutions.
- Ensure code quality through clean architecture, code reviews, automation, and testing.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to design and deliver new features.
- Develop and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure software reliability.
- Learn and apply cryptographic concepts while contributing to security-critical features.
- Stay up to date with modern C++, Qt technologies, and desktop application development best practices.
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience developing Windows desktop applications using Qt (Qt Widgets/Qt Quick) and QML.
- Experience building applications using Qt Quick Controls 2.
- Strong understanding of QML, Qt framework, and common software design patterns.
- Experience with C++ development, preferably using C++11/14, and familiarity with the STL.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and software design principles.
- Experience with Windows (Win32 APIs) or Linux application development.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, HTTP, and internet protocols.
- Basic knowledge of socket programming and inter-process communication (IPC).
- Familiarity with cryptography fundamentals and secure software development practices.
- Experience with unit testing, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, code reviews, and software quality best practices.
