Job Title: Insurance Back Office Executive – Motor Insurance
Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Insurance Back Office Executive to support our motor insurance operations. The candidate will be responsible for preparing quotations, coordinating with insurance companies, maintaining customer records, and supporting the sales team in the policy issuance process.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and compare motor insurance quotations for 2-Wheeler and 4-Wheeler vehicles from multiple insurance companies.
Coordinate with various insurance companies and their portals for quotations, policy processing, endorsements, and related requirements.
Check vehicle details such as RC, registration date, manufacturing year/month, previous policy, NCB, IDV, and vehicle model before preparing quotes.
Compare premium, IDV, add-ons, discounts, coverage, and terms & conditions across different insurers.
Provide accurate quotations to the sales team and customers within the required timeline.
Handle new business and renewal quotation requests for motor insurance.
Coordinate with the sales team, customers, and insurance companies for missing documents and information.
Assist in proposal preparation, policy issuance, payment confirmation, and policy documentation.
Verify policy details and ensure accuracy before sharing policies with customers.
Maintain proper records of quotations, proposals, policies, renewals, and customer communications.
Follow up with insurance companies regarding pending quotations, proposals, payments, and policy issuance.
Resolve basic quotation and portal-related issues by coordinating with the respective insurance company.
Ensure timely completion of assigned back-office tasks and maintain high accuracy in data entry and documentation.
Required Skills:
Basic knowledge of Motor Insurance – 2W & 4W.
Experience with insurance company portals and quotation systems will be an advantage.
Good knowledge of MS Excel, MS Office, and email communication.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple quotation requests.
Prior experience in an Insurance Broker, Insurance Company, TPA, or Motor Insurance Back Office will be preferred.
Preferred Experience
1–3 years of experience in motor insurance, insurance broking, back-office operations, quotation processing, or policy servicing.
