Role Description This full-time, on-site role is based at MBS School of Planning and Architecture in West Delhi, and is open at Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor levels in B.Tech CSE and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AIML). The faculty member will design and deliver undergraduate courses in core Computer Science and AIML topics, including lectures, tutorials, labs, and project guidance. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and learning materials, mentoring students, supervising projects and internships, and conducting regular assessments and evaluations. The role involves contributing to curriculum development, integrating emerging technologies and research trends, and maintaining up-to-date subject knowledge. The faculty member is also expected to participate in academic administration, departmental meetings, accreditation activities, workshops, and conferences, and to foster an inclusive, student-centered learning environment.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science fundamentals, including data structures, data analytics, algorithms, databases, operating systems, and software engineering.
- Demonstrated expertise in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, such as supervised/unsupervised learning, deep learning, neural networks, and applied AI systems.
- Proficiency in relevant programming languages and tools (e.g., Python, C/C++, Java, ML libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) and familiarity with industry-standard development practices.
- Experience with curriculum design, pedagogical planning, and use of modern teaching methodologies and educational technologies in engineering education.
- Ability to guide projects and research work, including problem formulation, literature review, experimentation, data analysis, and technical documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to diverse learners.
- Commitment to student mentoring, academic advising, and support for co-curricular and extracurricular activities.
