Role Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically strong professional to support our testing, automation, and process enhancement initiatives. The role requires hands-on expertise in executing bulk testing, leveraging automation tools, and driving workflow efficiencies. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical capability, demonstrates initiative in solving operational challenges, and can support junior team members where needed.
Key Responsibilities
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Lead and deliver bulk testing activities, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to defined controls.
- Identify test defects, track resolutions, and maintain comprehensive documentation for audit readiness.
Automation & Technical Enablement
- Use technical expertise in Excel, Power Automate, VBA, and SQL, with proficiency in at least two of these tools to automate processes, reduce manual intervention, and improve data integrity.
- Develop, maintain, and refine automated workflows and scripts to enhance productivity across the team.
Process Transformation
- Contribute to process transformation and improvement initiatives, supporting the redesign of operational workflows to improve efficiency and reduce risk.
- Recommend optimisation opportunities based on testing insights and operational pain points.
Team & Resource Support
- Support resource management activities, particularly for junior team members, assisting in planning, allocation, and skill development.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, technology, and transformation teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Essential
- Proven experience in bulk testing, preferably within a financial, operational, or analytical environment.
- Strong hands-on expertise in at least two of the following: Advanced Excel, Microsoft Power Automate, VBA scripting, SQL.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with large data sets and maintain high attention to detail.
Desirable
- Experience in process transformation, continuous improvement, or automation projects.
- Experience in Finance industry.
- Exposure to resource or workload management, especially involving junior team members.
- Understanding of operational controls, documentation standards, and audit requirements.
