About the Role
The ideal candidate will have 5–6 years of hands-on QA and automation testing experience, with a strong focus on mobile application testing. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, executing, and maintaining automated test suites and ensuring high-quality releases across our mobile applications.
This is a 100% on-site position based at T-Hub, Hyderabad, requiring the candidate to work from the office five days a week.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automation test scripts for Android and iOS applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and end-to-end testing of mobile applications.
- Build and maintain robust mobile automation frameworks using tools such as Appium or equivalent technologies.
- Identify, document, track, and retest defects throughout the development lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product teams, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define test scenarios.
- Execute automated test suites and analyze results to identify application defects and quality issues.
- Perform API testing where required using tools such as Postman or similar platforms.
- Contribute to improving QA processes, automation coverage, test reliability, and overall release quality.
- Participate in release validation and ensure applications meet defined quality standards before production deployment.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5–6 years of experience in software testing/quality assurance, with strong hands-on automation experience.
- Strong experience in mobile application automation testing.
- Hands-on testing experience across both Android and iOS applications.
- Experience with Appium or similar mobile automation frameworks.
- Good programming/scripting knowledge in Java, Python, JavaScript, or a comparable language used for test automation.
- Experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, or similar tools is desirable.
- Good understanding of mobile application testing methodologies, device/OS compatibility, and regression testing.
- Experience with API testing and tools such as Postman is preferred.
- Familiarity with Git/version control and CI/CD environments is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with development and product teams.
