🚨 WE’RE HIRING | AUTOMATION PROJECT MANAGER / SENIOR AUTOMATION ENGINEER 🚨
We are looking for an experienced Automation Project Manager / Senior Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Siemens Automation Systems, including PLC, HMI/SCADA, drives and motion control systems, for execution of machine automation and process automation projects.
🎯 Role Overview
The selected candidate will be responsible for end-to-end execution of automation projects, including PLC programming, HMI/SCADA, drive and motion control programming, commissioning, troubleshooting, project coordination, team management and customer interaction.
The role requires strong Siemens product knowledge, hands-on engineering capability, project execution experience and the ability to lead automation teams in demanding industrial environments.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
• Lead automation projects from engineering and programming through commissioning and final handover
• Plan project activities, manpower, timelines and site execution
• Lead and coordinate automation engineers, programmers, commissioning and service teams
• Develop, modify, debug and troubleshoot Siemens PLC, HMI, SCADA, drive and motion control systems
• Design, program, commission and optimize servo and motion control applications
• Integrate PLC, HMI, drives, servo systems and field devices for complete machine/line automation
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, process and production teams for complete machine/line integration
• Handle customer coordination, technical discussions, FAT, SAT, commissioning and project closure
• Analyze and resolve complex PLC, drive, servo, motion and industrial communication issues
• Ensure project execution within defined schedule, quality and technical requirements
• Support estimation, technical discussions and solution development for new projects
• Manage shift-based teams during installation, commissioning and production support
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, software backups, reports and technical records

• TIA Portal / STEP 7
• Siemens ET200 / distributed I/O systems
• PROFINET / PROFIBUS industrial communication
• HMI and SCADA systems
• WinCC / WinCC Unified
• Siemens industrial networking and diagnostics

Siemens Drives & Motion Control – Strong Experience Required
Candidates should have hands-on experience with Siemens motion control products and applications, including:
• S7-1500T CPUs
• SINAMICS S120 / S120 Drive Systems
• SINAMICS G120 / G120C drives
• Siemens servo drives and servo systems
• SIMOTION systems – experience will be an advantage
• Technology Objects (TO) in TIA Portal
• Positioning and speed control applications
• Absolute and incremental positioning
• Multi-axis coordinated motion
• Electronic gearing and synchronization
• Electronic camming / cam control
• Axis synchronization and interpolation
• Servo commissioning and tuning
• Motion-related fault diagnosis and troubleshooting
• Integration of S7-1500 / S7-1200 PLC + SINAMICS + servo motor + HMI systems

Motion Control Application Experience
Practical experience in Siemens motion control applications such as:
• Cut-to-length applications
• Flying shear / flying cut applications
• High-speed cutting and positioning
• Rotary and linear positioning
• Indexing applications
• Multi-axis synchronization
• Material handling and conveyor synchronization
• Roll-to-roll / web handling applications
• Synchronized cutting and processing applications
• Machine tool / machining applications
• Servo-based special-purpose machines
Experience with complex multi-axis motion applications will be highly preferred.

Experience in machine automation, process automation and automotive automation is preferred, particularly in:
• Metals
• Food & Beverages
• Wire & Cables
• Automotive
• Process Automation Systems
• Machine Automation Systems
👤
Preferred Candidate Profile
• 3–10+ years of experience in Industrial Automation
• Strong hands-on experience with Siemens automation products
• Proven experience in automation project execution and commissioning
• Strong practical experience with Siemens motion control and servo systems
• Experience with SINAMICS S120 / G120 will be strongly preferred
• Experience with TIA Portal and Siemens Technology Objects
• Strong PLC, drive, servo and motion troubleshooting capabilities
• Automotive / machine automation experience preferred
• Prior exposure to OEMs / Tier-1 suppliers / multinational organizations will be an advantage
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent coordination, leadership and customer-facing skills
• Ability to lead and manage multidisciplinary/shift-based teams
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as required
• Ability to work effectively under tight project schedules and high-pressure production environments
