About the Role
We are looking for a technically strong Project Manager - Automation to lead industrial automation projects from engineering through commissioning.
This is not a project management-only role. We are looking for an automation professional who can understand the process, review and challenge engineering work, guide the technical team, manage project timelines and take ownership of successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead automation engineering teams and manage end-to-end project execution.
• Review PLC, SCADA/HMI and automation engineering deliverables.
• Provide technical guidance and support troubleshooting of PLC, I/O, communication and software issues.
• Manage engineering, FAT, SAT, commissioning and project timelines.
• Coordinate with engineering teams and project stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
• Review technical solutions and identify potential engineering or process issues.
• Support troubleshooting and commissioning in industrial/process plants.
Technical Expertise Required
Siemens PLC – Advanced
- S7-1200, S7-1500 and S7-400
- TIA Portal and STEP 7
- PLC programming review and troubleshooting
- Hardware, I/O and communication diagnostics
- Redundancy and fail-safe concepts
SCADA / HMI
- Siemens WinCC / WinCC Professional / WinCC Unified
- SCADA architecture, servers, clients and redundancy
- Alarms, trends, process graphics, user management and historian
- PLC-SCADA communication
Siemens PCS 7
- Practical experience with SIMATIC PCS 7
- S7-400H / AS410
- CFC / SFC
- OS Server / Client architecture
- Redundant systems
- PROFIBUS / PROFINET integration
- FAT, SAT and commissioning
Industrial Networks
- PROFINET
- PROFIBUS DP/PA
- Industrial Ethernet
- Modbus TCP/RTU
- OPC / OPC UA
- Network diagnostics and troubleshooting
Process Knowledge
Strong understanding of industrial processes, including sequences, interlocks, permissives, alarms, safety conditions and operational requirements.
Experience in Flour Mills, Feed Mills, Grain Silos, Dairy/Food Processing, Beverage, End-of-Line Automation or Material Handling will be an advantage.

Candidates who have progressed from Automation/Control Engineer to Senior/Lead Engineer or Project Manager with hands-on project execution and commissioning experience will be preferred.
