Role Description The Audit Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in Lucknow. The individual in this role reviews financial and supply chain transactions, reconciles accounts, and verifies data accuracy across client systems and supplier records. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing transaction histories, identifying anomalies and variances, preparing clear audit reports, and supporting cost recovery and revenue assurance activities. The Audit Analyst will collaborate with internal audit teams and client stakeholders, help refine audit methodologies, and contribute to process improvements that strengthen controls and reduce risk. The role also involves maintaining comprehensive documentation, meeting project timelines, and handling sensitive financial information in a confidential and professional manner.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills, including data interpretation, variance analysis, and problem-solving abilities.
- Candidates should possess Finance knowledge, with understanding of financial concepts, cost structures, and revenue recognition.
- Candidates should possess Accounting skills, including familiarity with ledgers, reconciliations, and basic accounting principles.
- Candidates should possess Auditing skills, such as transaction testing, control assessment, and documentation of findings.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including the ability to present audit results clearly and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with Excel and other data analysis tools; exposure to ERP or financial systems is beneficial.
- Attention to detail, integrity in handling confidential information, and the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
