About Amzai
Amzai is a global event delivery partner. Working across the entire event calendar as an extension of our clients' teams, we provide the expertise needed across audience engagement, sponsorship, logistics and execution, using audience and sponsor data and insight to make each event stronger than the last.
About the role
You do not own one event. You own the audience outcome across a client's calendar: a series, a quarterly programme, or a full year of roundtables, conferences, and virtual sessions.
Every event on that calendar has a number attached to it, and the right roles and the right reasons behind that number. Meeting the number is your job.
The work runs in three parts. Before outreach begins, you narrow a researched list down to the executives who genuinely belong at a specific session on a specific topic. During the campaign, you run outreach that gets those people to attend for the right reason, not simply to fill a seat. After the event, you log what happened, attribute it properly, and get the outcomes into the hands of the people who act on them.
This is a role for someone who is organised to the point of being slightly irritating about it, who chases things without being asked twice, and who is comfortable picking up the phone to a senior executive who has gone quiet.
What you will do
- Qualify the audience before outreach begins. Work from the researched target lists our intelligence team supplies, narrow them to the people who genuinely belong at a specific session, and decide who to approach, in what order, and with what angle.
- Run the outreach and hit the number. Email sequences, LinkedIn, and direct follow-up, then confirmation calls, drop-off management, and tracking against target across the client's whole calendar, not one event at a time.
- Deliver your part of the run of show. Amzai runs events to a defined system. You will be trained on it, you follow it, and you escalate what it does not cover rather than improvising around it.
- Close the loop after the event. Log attendance and outcomes accurately, attribute them properly, get leads to the right stakeholders on the client side in the agreed format, and keep tracking until it is closed.
What you need to have
Essential
- 3 to 6 years in B2B demand generation, field marketing, event marketing, audience acquisition, inside sales, or a similar outreach-led role
- You will speak with senior executives in the US, UK, and Europe.
- Strong personal organisation: you track many moving parts without dropping any
- Comfortable being the person who chases people until they respond
- Willing to follow a defined process precisely, and to say when it is not working
Useful, not required
- Experience with marketing automation or CRM: HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce
- Experience with virtual event platforms: Zoom Webinars, Microsoft Teams Live, Hubilo, Airmeet, ON24
- Experience reaching senior or C-suite audiences, where the standard is higher and the tolerance for error is lower
- Familiarity with any of our client sectors: law firms, conference organisers, associations, media companies, B2B technology
What this role is not
- This is not a wedding, social, or consumer events role. We run topic-led micro events and conferences for law firms, conference organisers, associations, media companies, and B2B technology businesses. The audiences are senior, the subject matter is specialised, and getting the wrong person into the room is a real failure.
- This is not a venue and logistics role. You will not be sourcing hotels, managing catering, or running rooms on the day.
- This is not a purely coordination role. You will be on calls with clients and with senior attendees.
