The Assistant Manager at Federal Skill Academy, plays a vital operational and administrative role. They support the Center Head in ensuring that skilling programs run smoothly, adhere to quality standards, and meet placement targets. Represent the skill academy in public relations/liaison capacity on matters relating to the skill academy projects.
Job Description:

- Centre Administration.
1.1. Assist the Centre Manager in running the skill academy as a profit centre.
1.2. Monitor Bio Matrix Registration of new trainees, maintain accurate records of attendance.
1.3. Coordinate with trainers and staff to ensure smooth scheduling of classes, assessments and events.
1.4. Assist in marketing and promotional activities, including social media updates and event coordination.
1.5. Support Centre Manager to maintain all records and registers related to training including the stock and asset register as per the SOP.
1.6. Assist the Centre manager in the design, development, and recommend new skill programs, projects, and activities that meet CSR norms.
1.7. Support Centre Manager to achieve more than 80% of attendance of the trainees in the centre.
1.8. Support Centre Manager to arrange guest lectures by industry experts as required for the batches.
1.9. Guiding the counsellor and participating in activities including data collection, evaluation, and analysis.
1.10. Actively involved in brainstorming and implementing ideas for the development of the Academy.
1.11. Perform to the best of ability, all the duties as are inherent in your post and such additional duties as the company or reporting manager may call upon you to perform, from time to time.
- Placement:
1.1. Industry Engagement: Accountable to establish and maintain relationships with various industries, companies, and organizations. Act as the primary point of contact between the institute and industry partners if required.
1.2. Placement Drives: Accountable in planning and executing placement drives and job fairs, coordinate with companies to schedule interviews and recruitment activities.
1.3. Student Career Support: Provide career counselling and guidance to students, assisting them in making informed career decisions.
1.4. Internship Coordination: Support HOD to facilitate internships and industrial training opportunities for trainees, ensuring their exposure to real-world work environments.
1.5. Job Listings Support: Maintain a database of job openings and internship opportunities. Assist trainees in applying for job opportunities.
1.6. Feedback and Continuous Improvement: Collect feedback from recruiters and trainees to enhance the quality of placements and training programs.
1.7. Networking Events and Seminars: Organize networking events, seminars, and workshops to connect trainees with industry experts and keep them informed about industry trends.
1.8. Research and Data Analysis: Support HOD to conduct research to identify industry trends and demands, using data to align the skill centre’s curriculum with industry requirements.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in any discipline (preferred).
• Proven experience in customer service, front desk operations, or a related role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Knowledge of English and Local languages is required; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
• Prior experience in the education or training industry is desirable but not mandatory.
